hehe! maybe later tonight, i'll upload one of my "scientific explanation on water cycle" written in whiteboard when i was teaching my primary 4 kids last Sat.

okay here it is:



note to self : i can never be a SCIENCE teacher. i'll sidetrack and talk about God's wonderful creation for sure, like :

me : alright, PRIMARY FOUR! listen to me!
them : yahhh ..
me : Can you see these? Water cycle is important! it is a continuous movement of water from the Earth to the atmosphere!
*PAUSE* to draw a cow and a tree*
me : Water vapour comes from Earth! From who?
them : *screams* human being, cat, dog, plants, catterpillar (i heard one of them said this...how cute hunny!)
me : CORRECT! Man and animals contribute BY? *PAUSE in dramatic flair*
them : breathing ...?!
me : okay! correct, but there are others! Perspire, for example when u run around this centre, u will sweat right?! Ahh, tats perspiring! plus Urinating and Defecating! When u you erh have tummy ache and you pass motion?! ahh tats defecating
them : berak eh?
me : yes!
*PAUSE to draw a plant*
me : other than man and animals, what else contribute to the water cycle?!
them : plants and treeeee ..!
me : CORRECT! Plants give out water vapour through their leaves or stem or root?
them : HUH?
me : Plants give out water vapour through their LEAVES or STEM or ROOT?!
*PAUSE to draw a distorted plant*
them : LEAVES ...
me : YES! LEAVES! If i were to see in your exam paper that you wrote STEM or ROOT, ur gonna get it from me!
*PAUSE to cekak my pinggang*
me : okay! what is the process of water vapour FROM PLANTS rises up in the AIR?
them : *SILENCE*
me : WHAT IS IT? anyone can answer ?!
them : photosynthesis ..? chlorophyll?
me : NO! i am talking about water cycle, NOT PLANT REPRODUCTION! DUN get confuse!
*FROWNs surgically plastered on my face*
me : IF MAN AND ANIMALS GIVE OUT WATER THROUGH PERSPIRING, URINATING, DEFECATING AND BREATHING, WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF PLANTS GIVING OUT WATER CALLED?!!
them : *SILENCE*
me : TRANSPIRATION! write this down!
me : okay see! and then lalalala ..the water vapour goes up in the air to form a CLOUD. WATER VAPOUR! NOT water! you cannot see it with your naked eye!
them : oooh
me : isnt it wonderful? that its simply just amazing that water vapour rises, form a cloud, and then it rains, all without us noticng it actually happen? *SWEET EARNEST SMILE*
them : yah ..
me : you all know WHO planned all these water cycle process or not?
them : scientists!
me : NO! its God. and God gave these scientist the ability to figure out how He have created the process and now, we are studying them! GEREK KAAAAAAN! *SWEET EXCITED SMILE*
me : for the Muslim students and some knowledge for the non-MUSLIM students, DO YOU KNOW that EVERY YEAR THE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT EVAPORATES AND FALLS BACK TO EARTH IN THE FORM OF RAIN WATER IS CONSTANT! meaning for example if 50 million tonnes of water is evaporated, the SAME EXACT 50 million tonnes of water will fall back on earth as rain! AND THIS SCIENTIFIC explanation was already written in the Al-QURAN waaaaay before any scientist found out about it!! MASYAALLAH!
them : oooooo wowo MDM! ALLAH eh? ..........after the rain, then got rainbow! ..........right?
me : yah! yes, ALLAH is the arabic word of GOD. You know, just like in life. IF you have a SAD day, you fail ur test, ur mother scold you, ur friend was not there for you, it will seem like a rainy day. but after the RAIN, there will be a SUN shinning and a RAINBOW! so, you all must not give up in anything that you do! dun be sad over small things! must be OPTIMISTIC meaning that you always think that EVERYTHING will be OKAY in future. CAN?

ooops, sorry, not 50 million tonnes of water. erh its 513 trillion tons of water. phoawr. i am blown away hunny.

this constant amount is declared in the Quran bt the expression "sending down water in due measure from the sky".

"It is God Who sends the winds which stir up clouds which He spreads about the
